Tuffy's Desert Adventure
This is the story of Tuffy's big adventure in the Arizona Desert. He accidentally gets locked out of his yard and is chased by a coyote. Tuffy runs and runs and finds a cave to hide in. When the coyote finally falls asleep, he creeps out of the cave. His nose leads him back to his own yard, he pushes the gate open while barking with all his might. Dad's voice shouts, "It's Tuffy! It's Tuffy!" Mom and Dad were so happy to see him! He knew he had been a very naughty dog for going into the desert a lone. "You surely have the right name, Tuffy. You are the toughest and bravest dog in the world!" Mom said. He had to agree, but he promised he'd never again go in to the desert alone.
